Emanuele Nicolotti is an Italian writer and playwright based in Berlin.

His personal essays have been featured in prominent Italian magazines, including Il Post, Il Tascabile, L’Indiscreto, as well as in the British journal Anima Loci. His first book, a memoir about the concept of home and how homes, at times, inhabit us more than we inhabit them, is set for publication in Italy by Mondadori, in 2026.

Between 2009 and 2013, Emanuele Nicolotti primarily wrote theatre plays that were produced across Europe, at institutions such as Kunstenfestivaldesarts (Brussels, BE) and Fondazione Teatro Due di Parma (Parma, IT). Notably, his fourth play Non vogliamo stelle questa sera was shortlisted for the Hystrio Prize for Playwriting 2011.
